InControl Medical Delivers 200,000th Incontinence Device

A Huge Milestone, but so Much More to Be Done, Says CEO Peddicord

Medical Device Manufacturer InControl Medical announced Friday that they had surpassed 200,000 units sold of their various in-home pelvic floor therapy and rehabilitation devices. A recent study showed in-home devices of this type to be as effective as a visit to a specialist. With 60% of women expected to struggle with incontinence at some point in their life, these devices are at the forefront of a revolution giving women the power to address the issue with an FDA approved cure right from home.

"We're tremendously proud of how many women have had life changing results after using our products" said Herschel Peddicord, InControl Medical's CEO, "But for every woman we've cured, there's 300 still suffering, and that number is growing every day." Devices like InControl Medical's Attain offer features like those used in a pelvic floor therapists office, using modern technology and compact design to make them available for guided self-treatment.

While disposable product manufacturers have turned to updated marketing and packaging, the future will be based on ending the problem all together, says Peddicord, "Women understand the power of being able to use this at home, themselves, with a product that's not disposable. We want to cure every single case. This isn't something a woman should have to live with." With the market for disposable incontinence products expected to top $18 Billion by 2027, devices like InControl's are certainly poised to disrupt the future of treatment.
