The control box is a new variant of the CB6S series and its functional characteristics are classified between the light and full versions. Being an extended OpenBus device the CB6S OBM offers solutions for hospital and nursing beds as well as other medical applications, such as couches and dental chairs. These solutions focus on increasing the level of service and improving the work environment of nursing and care staff.

The CB6S OBM features include:
• Semi-parallel positioning which provides horizontal alignment according to defined intervals to ensure a smooth movement

• Smooth movement - possible because the control box supports actuators with digital feedback

• Improved safety through lock of functions and first failure safe that prevent unintended movement caused by e.g. a short circuit

• A microprocessor which ensures that multiple accessories such as Under Bed Light and Scale can be connected to the control box

• Customised software that increases the flexibility of the CB6S OBM
