Increase Productivity with 10 Second UV-Curing - Techsil Introduce Vitralit 4282-2 Undefined

Techsil are launching Vitralit 4282-2 in the UK market; an adhesive which boasts a uv-curing system combined with an anaerobic acrylic bond that can be used for filling, bonding, threadlocking and retaining.

UV-curing anaerobic acrylic adhesives offer many benefits, namely excellent adhesive strength, low stress and very fast uv-cure in only a few seconds, resulting in very short cycle times and high productivity in a two step curing process.

Techsil are launching Vitralit 4282-2 in the UK market; an adhesive which boasts a uv-curing system combined with an anaerobic acrylic bond that can be used for filling, bonding, threadlocking and retaining. The uv feature allows assembly of parts with instant, on-demand handling with a uv-cure time of just 10 seconds. The shadow areas will then cure anaerobically to form high-strength, durable bonds.

Due to its excellent chemical and environmental resistance, Vitralit 4282-2 has become a popular solution with automotive manufacturers for sealing seams and filling pinholes in metal surfaces created by machining processes, such as laser-welding or brazing for example.

Vitralit 4282-2 is very low viscosity and offers a temperature resistance of -40°C to +170°C. Available in 100gm & 20gm bottles - please contact our sales department for more information and pricing [email protected].

"I love this new adhesive, it does everything you want from a uv-cure and it will be a headline product for years to come!" Chris Dilley, Techsil Sales Director.

UV adhesives technology is a fast growing sector due to many advantages over other types of curing systems. UV curing has been shown to increase production speed, reduce reject rates, improve scratch and solvent resistance, and facilitate superior bonding.

Adhesives specialist Techsil supply the Vitralit range of UV curing adhesives widely used in the electronics and medical sectors. We also supply state-of-the-art UV curing equipment from Honle, which includes UV hand and flood lamps, point sources, UV conveyors, UV LED arrays and UV LED flood lamps.
