Online, June 7, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Pon Ragunathan was born in 1937. He was trained in the art of painting at the Government College of Arts & Crafts in Chennai. He has been the Founder Treasurer for the Contemporary Painters & Writers Association and a Founder Member of the Museum Club in Salem, Tamil Nadu. His paintings are being collected in the U.S.A and in venues within India (including New Delhi, Bangalore, Thanjavur and Chennai). The colors and strokes in his paintings guides you to travel through the remote villages in India. The artist resides and paints in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Pon Ragunathan is also a poet.
For his newly produced artworks, he did a few pieces of paintings by making use of oil on canvas.
