Indiana Retailer Albert's Diamond Jewelers Hosts 13th Annual Auction for MS Research
Schererville, Indiana, September 21, 2016 (Newswire.com) - On October 9th, 2016, Albert’s Diamond Jewelers will be hosting the 13th Annual MS Auction to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research and the search for a cure. The annual event will feature a live and silent auction of over 300 items including, jewelry, spa packages, gift certificate, fine art, and much more, with 100% of every dollar raised going directly towards Multiple Sclerosis research.
As a member of the National MS Society Hall of Fame, Albert’s Diamond Jewelers has raised over $1 million dollars since the first MS auction. In an interview with Indiana-based news outlet Valpolife, Albert’s Diamond Jewelers’ president Josh Halpern expressed how the importance of hosting events like the MS Auction, “has been instilled in me from my father [Fred Halpern]— that we’re in business to give back”, and since Halpern’s mother was diagnosed with MS, that at Albert’s “[it is] our passion to find a cure”.

Starting at 11 am on Sunday, October 9th, the auction will be held at the Indiana Welcome Center, located on Corinne Drive in Hammond, Indiana, and will, as always, be free to attend.
