Infomedia To Integrate Parts And Service Selling Systems With DealerTrack's Dealer Management System

OpenTrack program provides bi-directional integration for parts and service department.

Infomedia announced today it signed an agreement with DealerTrack Systems, Inc. Under the agreement, Infomedia will integrate its suite of automotive parts and service selling systems with the DealerTrack Dealer Management System (DMS) through DealerTrack's OpenTrack program, providing secure, real-time and bi-directional data access for dealerships using Infomedia's suite of aftersales systems.

"Integrating our solutions into DealerTrack's DMS offering creates new efficiencies for our customers," said Dan Stedem, Vice President, Infomedia. "Bi-directional integration will allow seamless sharing of data between our solutions and allow parts and service departments faster access to vehicle specific information. This added accessibility means parts and service departments will generate even more efficiencies in managing their customers and daily operations."

DealerTrack is a leading provider of software and data solutions for the automotive retail industry. Its OpenTrack platform is an interface with the DealerTrack DMS that gives best-in-class third-party solution providers, such as Infomedia, real-time bi-directional access to a dealership's data.

All Infomedia customers utilizing the DealerTrack DMS system will be able to add this new integration. It will be available for the popular Microcat Electronic Parts Selling System, the new Auto PartsBridge system that links body shops and dealers, as well Superservice Menus Service Quoting System.
