InfusionPoints Achieves Modern Compute Specialization Distinction in the AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency

AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency

InfusionPoints, LLC a leading CyberSecurity Advisory, Technology, and Managed Security Services firm, announced today that it has achieved Modern Compute distinction in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Level 1 MSSP Competency. This achievement recognizes that InfusionPoints has successfully met both AWS's Level 1 Managed Security Services baseline requirements and additional technical and operational requirements for providing customers with a deep level of security services, uniquely designed for AWS environments.

AWS launched the AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency to enable customers to easily acquire ongoing security monitoring and management, validated by AWS. AWS security experts annually validate the tools used and operational processes of each MSSP to address specific cloud security challenges such as continuous event monitoring, triaging, AWS service configuration best practices, and 24/7 incident response. The AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency, provides a faster and easier experience for customers to select the right MSSP to help them achieve their goals for business risk and cloud strategy confidence.

Achieving the Modern Compute distinction in the AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency differentiates InfusionPoints as an MSSP and AWS Partner with 24/7 managed cloud security skillsets to earn the distinction of Level 1 MSSP with specialized Modern Compute services.

"We are excited to formalize the services that we have built out over the years to meet the AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency. InfusionPoints has always held our VNSOC360° services, Operations, and overall MSSP services as a differentiator in the FedRAMP cloud space. Obtaining the Level 1 MSSP Competency with AWS, allows InfusionPoints to present these same services to a much larger and cloud-oriented customer base. We are excited to see the continued growth and what the future will hold." - Chad Spears, Director of VNSOC.

AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify AWS Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.

"We launched our VNSOC360° Managed Security Services in 2014, including our 24/7/365 Cyber Security Center facility in North-Western North Carolina," said Jason Shropshire, Chief Operating Officer at InfusionPoints. "This was a key part of our strategy to provide complete mission support for our customers in regulated markets, including FedRAMP, DFARS, and CMMC that require US Citizen / US Soil Cybersecurity services. Earning AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency, proves our tooling and capabilities are primed for our clients on AWS."
