the jordanian organization INJAZ concludes Business Entrepreneurship Annual Competitions for schools

Under the patronage of his Excellency Dr. Mohammad Thneibat the Minister of Education, and as part of INJAZ' efforts to encourage entrepreneurship and improve the work readiness of Jordanian youth, INJAZ conducted the "Business Entrepreneurship Annual Competitions for schools". INJAZ' entrepreneurial programs provide students with long-term, hands-on experience and practical entrepreneurial training in developing and managing a start-up company or project under the supervision of trained private sector professionals who have volunteered their time and effort to coach and mentor our youth.

This year, teams from 10 Company Program, 9 teams from Team Program and 15 teams from Enterprise Business Challenge Program, from across Jordan, launched and managed their projects and competed in "INJAZ Business Entrepreneurship Annual Competition", and a panel of judges included high level of Jordanian business leaders awarded the winner teams.

Ms. Deema Bibi, CEO of INJAZ said: "INJAZ Entrepreneurial Programs have a deep positive impact on the participating students, it is extremely rewarding to see this transformation on our students, as we have seen great achievements during a short period of time. The programs improved participants managerial and business skills and most importantly boosted their self-confidence. All of this success would not have been possible without the support and role that the Ministry of Education plays, or without our volunteers dedication and time. We extend our gratitude to our main donor USAID". Ms. Bibi also thanked all the sponsors of the event; Hilton, ALF, Mosaic, Aramix, Mashrik School, Jordan Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Roya TV, Addustour Newspaper and Nashama FM.

INJAZ was founded in 1999 as a USAID-funded project under Save the Children with the mission to inspire and prepare youth to become productive members of their society and accelerate the development of the national economy. In 2001, INJAZ became an independent, nonprofit organization in an event under the Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah II. Over the last 15 years, INJAZ has operated and implemented its programs with the support of the public and private sectors and over 22,000 volunteers; impacting the lives of over 850,000 young Jordanians in schools, youth centers, colleges and universities throughout Jordan.
