Innovative Bookings Website Hire Space Flying Out Of The Gates
Online, June 15, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Up and coming venue hire website Hire Space today announced a partnership with the Jockey Club as part of its ever expanding portfolio of venues available for Hire Space. This will allow the public to hire Epsom, Kempton Park or Sandowne Park's facilities online on non-racedays. Over 150 venues have signed up in the past 4 weeks and it is anticipated that there will be over 500 available in London for the public launch on the website.
Hire Space allows venues to list spaces they have to hire for free, and then lets the public book and pay for them online. The website is free for venues to be feature on, but takes a small commission on bookings made.
The venture is backed by the team behind Top Table, Europe's largest online restaurant booker, and is currently signing up venues in London ahead of its full launch in September 2012.
"Currently events, conference, sports, meeting and exhibition venues are still booked the same way that you might have booked a hotel room 30 years ago. Nowadays you would expect to be able to compare prices, view availability and book directly from one site online. This is exactly what Hire Space will do when it launches later this year." explains Hire Space Director Will Swannell.
"There are also so many uses for the site that we had never anticipated. We have shopping centres and office complex lining up to use as way to sell their promotional pitches. We even had an event room on a luxury yacht sign up yesterday"
Hire Space will revolutionise venue sourcing for event organisers, and provide new and unique venue options that these organisers may not otherwise have considered.
Venues interested in being involved from the start can register on our venue hire website.
