Insights into the Yahoo! And Microsoft Search Alliance at International Search Summit

Delegates at the International Search Summit Munich (http://www.internationalsearchsummit.com/munich.html) on April 4th will hear the latest developments in the Yahoo! And Microsoft Search Alliance

Microsoft's Cedric Chambaz, EMEA Marketing Lead, Small & Medium Business Advertising, will be talking about the opportunities the alliance offers marketers to increase online visibility and generate higher ROI in both paid and organic search across the region.

The alliance has already been implemented in United States, giving Yahoo!/Bing a combined search share of around 31% and enabling advertisers to reach this audience through just one platform. The first European markets to benefit from the alliance will be the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy and Spain in the first quarter of 2011.

The International Search Summit will be in Munich for the first time, as it joins forces with global search marketing conference SMX to provide international content at its events. The one day Summit will offer a range of sessions designed to give insight and advice to marketers operating in multiple countries and languages.

Host of the Summit, Andy Atkins-Kruger says, "While Google is the undisputed market leader in many European countries, Yahoo! and Bing's developing partnership will increase their presence in the region and offer a strong alternative to marketers running pan-European campaigns".

Other sessions in Munich include International Search Fundamentals, Global Link Building Strategies, Geo-targeting and Multilingual Video Optimization.

The International Search Summit will be held at the Hilton Munich Park Hotel on 4th April as part of the 2011 SMX Munchen. All sessions at the Summit will be in English.
