Insulation Solutions, Inc. Introduces Radiant Shield® Pro Plus To Growing Product Line

Online, June 2, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Insulation Solutions, Inc. recently introduced Radiant Shield® Pro Plus, a reflective vapor barrier with built in 3M® peel-&-stick adhesive. The product was developed for the post frame construction industry as a durable alternative to traditional vapor barrier materials. Reflective vapor barriers are typically used in agricultural buildings, workshops, storage sheds, and more to reduce heat transfer into the structure and reduce condensation issues.

Radiant Shield® Pro Plus features a cross-woven UV-inhibitor coated skin that gives the interior of an unfinished building an attractive, bright white appearance. The closed-cell foam core will not pop, crush or lose air over time. Seams can be easily and effectively sealed with the built-in peel-&-stick adhesive technology from 3M®. This unique adhesive helps maintain the integrity of the seam bond by resisting temperature swings over time.

Radiant Shield® Pro Plus is manufactured in 74" x 300' rolls, reducing shipping and storage costs per square foot. During installation, the 74" width gives installers an extra 2" of material to work with after two 3' skins are applied. Radiant Shield® Pro Plus was tested for flame spread and smoke development according to ASTM E 84-09 and carries a Class A fire rating.
