Intel Capital Invests In IPTEGO
IPTEGO announced today that it received funding from Intel Capital.
Online, November 18, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Berlin, Germany -- IPTEGO, a leading supplier of Next Generation Network ("NGN") optimization software, today announced that it received funding from Intel Capital. The proceeds from the investment will help further accelerate IPTEGO's growth in the United States and foster its expansion into Asia. The investment is a second closing of IPTEGO's first institutional investment round led by XAnge Private Equity.
IPTEGO's flagship solution, the PALLADION Software Suite, is used by Communication Service Providers (CSPs) to make the customer experience measurable. PALLADION enhances the quality of experience, reduces the cost of operations and allows for smooth integration of third-party products with telecom networks. IPTEGO's software is vendor agnostic and works with any NGN deployment operated by mobile and fixed line carriers worldwide.
Communication Service Providers have identified the assurance of individual end users' quality of experience as a key success factor. The demand for next generation Customer Experience Management (CEM) solutions is increasing, because of the complexity introduced by the new architecture of all-IP and LTE networks, and from the challenges of providing high-quality triple- and quad-play services. PALLADION is a perfect fit for the CEM market.
Marcos Battisti, Managing Director at Intel Capital, said that "IPTEGO has an experienced management team that has created a unique software solution for CSPs that allows them to better operate their NGN deployments and maximize the customer's quality of experience."
"The funding from Intel Capital constitutes a major milestone for IPTEGO and we are pleased to be working with an investor who has both a worldwide network and deep technological excellence," said Alex Hoffmann, IPTEGO Co-Founder and CEO. "Intel Capital's investment will allow us to faster penetrate global markets and thereby ensure rapid growth," added Ulrich Abend, Co-Founder and COO.
