IntelliScore Ensemble Multiple-Instrument Mp3 to Midi, Wav to Midi Converter 7.3 Released
Innovative Music Systems announces that a new version of intelliScore Ensemble has been released. Musicians and educators use intelliScore Ensemble to help transcribe unfamiliar pieces so they can spend more time making music and teaching.
Online, January 12, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Innovative Music Systems, Inc. (www.intelliscore.net) announces the release of version 7.3 of intelliScore Ensemble. IntelliScore Ensemble listens to prerecorded or live music (in WAV, MP3, WMA, or CD format) comprised of several different instruments and helps create a multiple-track MIDI (.mid) file containing the notes played, broken down by instrument. The MIDI file, in turn, is suitable for notation, cleanup/editing, and playback. Musicians and educators use intelliScore to help transcribe unfamiliar pieces so they can spend more time making music and teaching.
Innovative Music Systems introduced the world's first polyphonic audio to MIDI converter nine years ago. Polyphonic music contains more than one note at a time, such as a musician playing chords on a piano. They have now broken new ground again with the world's only multiple-instrument audio to MIDI converter.
"Many have considered multi-instrument conversion to be the 'holy grail' of music recognition," said Joe Kohler, president of Innovative Music Systems. "Now, that quest is one step closer with intelliScore Ensemble."
In addition to supporting multiple instruments, the latest intelliScore provides other new helpful features. For example, intelliScore automatically estimates the tempo and meter. It also now includes instrument tuners.
