Intensive Outpatient Program at Beachside Rehab

Fort Pierce, Florida, November 10, 2015 (Newswire.com) - ​Beachside Rehab, situated on Hutchinson Island, has opened up a new facility and treatment program – intensive outpatient treatment – that focuses on integrating rehab inpatients into everyday life.

Once an addict has undergone a detox and inpatient treatment at a rehab, they are still often ill equipped to deal with life as a recovering addict. This breakdown leads to addicts relapsing and falling back into their old ways. There is degree of support that is offered through good outpatient programs, such as the one offered by Beachside, however a transition program is still needed to help inpatients adjust.

We have found that many of our clients in the inpatient facility benefit from interaction with those who have moved on to the next step of their recovery journey as intensive outpatients. ​Beachside Rehab’s intensive outpatient program will offer patients with on-going individual therapeutic support, job development and support, group therapy sessions, and the safety and structure of living in a monitored facility with 24/7 medical support.

An intensive outpatient program is also designed for people who have not or do not wish to go through an inpatient program and for those who cannot take time from work or people who are required by courts to attend an outpatient program.
