Interactive Storybook App to Enlighten Children about Molestation

"Dancing Spiders" is an interactive storybook app to enlighten young readers about molestation. It is set in a magical forest where a group of children play and mingle with their magical friends. The story is wholesome, engaging and relevant.

A new project called “Dancing Spiders”, an interactive storybook app to enlighten young readers about molestation has just been put up on Indiegogo.

It is part of the Help Kids Live Smart series to provide edutainment, that is, entertaining story with educational element.

Besides the entertaining element and educational value, Dancing Spiders will help the readers to develop thinking skills. With touch-triggered animation, music, sounds and an intuitive platform, the storybook app will keep the child entertained and engaged while picking up useful knowledge.

Sandra Hugs, Founder

Backers are able to get an inside look at how this idea came to realization and become part of the conversation on its future.  Anyone who has a child will be interested to see how this works.

Dancing Spiders will entertain and engage readers through magical characters to enlighten them on a real life issue – molestation. The story will have a decision point to encourage readers to evaluate the situation in the shoes of the story character. How the story unfolds and ends will depend on the course taken by the readers.

To realize growth and reach future users, the creator has chosen crowdfunding as a platform to get the word out.  The crowdfunding process will allow the creator to evaluate users’ reactions and help facilitate societal involvement.  Crowdfunding is a fantastic and relatively new way of gaining exposure; the team is positive that this will be the key to their success. The goal of this campaign is to reach those who share the vision of empowering children through learning, want to share ideas, and create a community of like-minded individuals who are interested in collaboration with the founders.

The founder says, “Besides the entertaining element and educational value, Dancing Spiders will help the readers to develop thinking skills.  We’re confident that these efforts will help parents in guiding their children to deal with real life situations sensibly.”

"We’re really excited to be launching our campaign," says Sandra Hugs. "With touch-triggered animation, music, sounds and an intuitive platform, this will keep the child entertained and engaged while picking up useful knowledge.”

And for those who cannot help with donations, they know how far a Facebook “Like” or “Share” can travel.  So every little bit counts.

Crowdfunding is the process of pooling money from people to make an idea happen in exchange for perks.  Perks are incentives that campaigners offer in return for your contribution.  Contributing gives you the opportunity to participate in an idea you’re excited about.
