Interlink Announces New Video Hardware and Services
Online, May 31, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Professional Studio equipment includes a top of the line video encoder in a 1u server format with redundant power supply and hot swap capability. Named the CASK Network Encoder, the unit accepts SD1 or Ethernet data at speeds up to 1.5 Gigabits/second and puts out data streams at speeds from 50Kb/s to 40Mb/s. This speed range is matched with transport protocols for use on wireless cell devices up to 3D television sets. These units are priced for the cable providers and Internet Service Providers markets, but also for the serious videophile who requires the best available quality.
Interlink is offering an inexpensive replacement for the skyrocketing costs of cable and satellite service.
The CASK set top unit produces HD and standard definition programming as well as 2Way (Video conferencing) TV. The unit is inexpensive, lightweight and requires no fans for cooling, so the room remains quiet. There are no internal moving parts. We have been working with INTEL for over 2 years designing this unit and it embodies the latest and best in video hardware. Separate hard drives are sold for use with the internal TIVO-like features.
Our new designs and services have enabled us to stay ahead technologically and in the marketplace. In addition to consumer and wholesale markets, Interlink is actively pursuing government sales for several hundreds of millions of dollars.
There is no certainty that the pending sales will close. The statements in the press release relating to the company's expectations or actions in development are forward-looking statements. Forward-looking statements will often differ materially from actual results. The reality is more likely than not to vary substantially from these forward looking statements.
