Self-motivated and results driven to succeed, Marcela Kane is a seasoned tax professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.

Ms. Kane has nearly 20 years of experience working as a tax professional, advising corporations on a variety of issues as it relates to technical and operational tax and other complex tax issues, both national and international. Her areas of expertise include US GAAP accounting for income taxes, tax provision process and analytics, US taxation of non-US operations, non-US taxes, tax risk management, uncertain tax positions/FIN 48 and foreign currency.

Since 2015, Ms. Kane has held the role of Director of Tax at Halliburton, a large, American, multinational company that provides services and products to the energy industry. Using her skills in problem solving, communication and management, she leads a team of professionals, providing advice, analyses and solutions across departments.
