International Association of Women Honors Pamela De Fina as a 2018-2019 Influencer of the Year

Pamela De Fina, Art Historian/Choreographer/Author, is selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.

The International Association of Women (IAW) honors Pamela De Fina as a 2018-2019 Influencer of the Year. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with nearly one million members, 1000+ in person and virtual events, over 100 Local US based Chapters and International Chapters in several cities in China.

Pamela De Fina was born in New York City but grew up in Palm Beach, FL, where she studied ballet and jazz. A gifted dancer, Ms. De Fina studied under a number of well-known dancers, including Maria-Theresa Duncan, Hortense Kooluris, Julia Levien and Madeleine Lytton.

Ms. De Fina has also pursued an academic career. She received a Bachelor of Arts El. Ed. and Art History; attended the Master of Arts program at the Graduate School of Fine Arts/Rosary College in Florence, Italy; and researched at the Bernard Berensons Villa I tatti in Renaissance Art.

In 1979, Ms. De Fina moved to Manhattan where she continued to dance and teach while also working at art galleries and founding an art business. A member of the International Dance Council, CID, a non-governmental organization founded in 1973 within the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Ms. De Fina is the Author of "Maria Theresa: Divine Being, Guided by a Higher Order."
