Self-motivated and results driven to succeed, Angeleque Reed is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.
Since 2012, Ms. Reed has been the Chief Executive Officer at Strategies in Education, a company that “acts as a catalyst for change by raising awareness about and addressing the challenges that affect any school facing adversity, particularly those in high-poverty communities.” In her role, Ms. Reed uses her skills in leadership, mentoring, education and management. Her expansive responsibilities include managing the partnership with eight schools in the Rockville, MD, area, ensuring the success of key programs, initiatives and other services, developing and implanting new program ideas and projects, leading a team of professionals, and much more.
For two decades, Ms. Reed has held leadership positions at other academic institutions. Before founding Strategies in Education, she was the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction at The Educational Alliance Group in Baltimore, MD. Prior to that, Ms. Reed held the role of Principal at Center City Consortium of Catholic Schools in the Washington D.C. metro area.
