CHICAGO, November 6, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Michelle Quintero as a 2018-2019 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in the sports and entertainment insurance business. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with nearly one million members, 1000+ in person and virtual events, over 100 Local US-based Chapters and International Chapters in several cities in China.
“I’m pleased to welcome Michelle into this exceptional group of professional women,” said IPDN President and IAW Spokesperson Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and the sports and entertainment community.”

Michelle Quintero had been working in the hospitality industry but knew she wanted a more fulfilling job. Only 22 years old at the time, she posted her resume to a job site and was recruited by a large entertainment broker company. That was 18 years ago, and she has since forged a highly successful career in the entertainment insurance industry,
Last year, Ms. Quintero, who is licensed by the State of California to transact property and casualty insurance, joined Mark Edward Partners, an international insurance brokerage firm. In her role as Vice President of the firm’s Sports & Entertainment group, she uses her deep appreciation for client service to nurture her established clients and help new ones manage the complexity of their personal and business risks through the customized insurance programs she and her Mark Edward Partners colleagues develop.
“I am very passionate. I think outside the box and have always prided myself with being a progressive and innovative problem solver,” Ms. Quintero said. “I am a people person and gain personal and professional satisfaction by using my skills to allow those who entertain us to stay focused on their creative or athletic pursuits. For example, some clients such as rappers and hip-hop musicians can find it difficult to obtain the right insurance coverage because many insurance companies don’t understand the hip hop/rap culture.”
“The most rewarding aspect of my career is providing clients with creative solutions for their complex and evolving risk management needs.”
As for her future goals, Ms. Quintero said, “I want to continue to be a part of growing Mark Edward Partners Sports & Entertainment group into an industry leader!”
