CHICAGO, July 17, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Stacey Hogue as a 2018-2019 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in entrepreneurship. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with nearly one million members, 1000+ in person and virtual events, over 100 Local US-based Chapters and International Chapters in several cities in China.

Inspired by leaders who mentored and motivated her, Stacey Hogue realized the importance of doing the same. During her highly successful career in management as a strategic finance leader, she has always been passionate about nurturing, mentoring and developing individuals on her team. “I have always believed that as I moved up in my career, I should bring people with me,” Ms. Hogue said. “With any management role comes the human relation side. You have to build the team, deal with conflict, identify potential leaders and prepare them for the next level.”
With the skills she acquired in management and leadership, Ms. Hogue started StepUp Consulting, a part-time consulting business in 2016. Now, two years later, she has made leading and coaching others, something she has been doing for 20 years, her full-time career. She helps her clients develop leadership skills, offers finance training for organizations, employees and the community through workshops and group training, and advises and coaches teams on change management, leadership and organizational development.
Ms. Hogue has an M.B.A. from Webster University, a B.S. in Industrial technology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and is currently pursuing additional certification in coaching. “I have spent the last few months preparing to obtain the John Maxwell Speaker, Coach and Trainer certification,” Ms. Hogue said. “My certification, along with years of experience and expertise, will be used to continue developing leaders and teams to move their organizations forward.”
In addition to obtaining her certification, Ms. Hogue’s future goals include continuing to learn, and getting involved with her community so she can give back to those in need. “As my company grows, I plan to hire additional team members and expand to other states and eventually train in other countries,” she added.
