International Contemporary Artist Pamela Nielsen Reveals 11 Originals
Hilton Hotel, San Francisco Launches 11 Exclusive Pieces of Contemporary Art By Pamela Nielsen
Online, June 5, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The historic world-renowned Hilton San Francisco Union Square, which has just undergone a $51 million refurbishment, now boasts 11 exquisite pieces of original artwork designed by international contemporary artist Pamela Nielsen (www.pamelanielsen.com).
The tailor-made and exclusive pieces of artwork commissioned by ForrestPerkins, the design team for the Hilton Hotel project, were specifically created by Pamela Nielsen to represent the stunning skylines of San Francisco in California. The inspiration for these unique designs came from photos of the cities magnificent sunrises and sunsets, with Alizarin crimson, metallic copper and gold's and a touch of Phthalo blue representing the San Francisco sunrise, and deep purples with coral to dark to medium purples and lavender for the sunsets.
"Collaborating with the ForrestPerkins and Hilton designers on the SF Hilton Union Square was exciting and extremely fulfilling," says Pamela."One of my passions as an artist is to co-create with my clients to achieve their desired look and feel. It pushes me and allows me to expand my repertoire. This project did just that!"
"Pamela's artwork at the SF Hilton Union Square looks fabulous! Everyone is over-the-moon happy with the final project" - says Ann Theriot, Senior Associate at ForrestPerkins. "It has been great working with her, and I'm so glad that we got the artist and art direction that we originally envisioned for the project. The artwork really comes alive with the lighting and Pamela definitely achieved the energy of the sunrise/sunset concept that we proposed to the Hilton group."
The themes and titles of many of the Pamela 'deZigns' are stimulated by emotions and colors connected to the Chakras, seven primary energy centers in the human body that receive, assimilate and distribute energy. Her artwork has proven to captivate audiences for both residential homes and commercial buildings with the spontaneous, energetic feelings and emotions that each piece exudes.
The San Francisco landmark hotel, one of the largest and tallest hotels on the West Coast, has three towers with guestrooms and suites offering some exquisite views of the city, and is just one of the many new homes of the Pamela brand. This avant-garde artist has collaborated with various architects and interior designers for both commercial and residential clients including 22 pieces in the stunning Mira Hotel Hong Kong, 11 pieces in the DW Bistro in Las Vegas, Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw, 15 pieces in iFreedom Direct in Salt Lake City, the Silver Lake Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah, as well as pieces in Mexico and Canada.
