One Voice Children’s Choir (OVCC) announced today the release of its most epic music video, “Show Yourself”  from Disney’s Frozen 2, in a ground-breaking effort to shed light on social responsibility. OVCC has been featured on America's Got Talent and has almost two million subscribers.

Six years ago this month, OVCC emerged as a YouTube sensation when its cover of “Let It Go” (from Frozen) with Alex Boyle went viral. Since that time, OVCC was a quarter-finalist on America’s Got Talent, has performed at the D-Day Commemoration in Normandy, France, for the President at the White House, for Utah’s Governor's inauguration and at the Miss International Pageant in Tokyo (broadcast to 68 countries), and has traveled the world performing before large and diverse groups of people, corporations and conventions. OVCC also received over 61 million views for its cover of “Believer” (the Imagine Dragons hit song).

“Since that first [Frozen] video, we have been fortunate to grow an army of loyal followers, expand our viewership and build a global community. We recognize the social responsibility attached to an emerging choir such as OVCC that finds a worldwide audience,” said Kathie Steinagel, OVCC’s Executive Director. “It was important for us to revisit our past as a choir in order to convey the right message with our new ‘Show Yourself’ video. We hope that everyone who watches ‘Show Yourself’ will be inspired to use the gifts he or she possesses to influence the world we live in for good. That is OVCC’s prime mission -- to change the world for good through its music.”

Choir alumnus and soloist Lexi Walker was recruited to not only pay tribute to her role in the first “Frozen” video, but also to help symbolize each person’s journey of growth and self-discovery. Walker, a talented vocalist and current college student, reprises her Elsa role, now as a grown and confident queen. In the video, Walker as an adult Elsa shows resilience and hope as she visits a younger version of herself, performed by OVCC member Savannah Lawrence. The visual resemblance between the two as each searches for her own strength and purpose is a positive and powerful message to children of the world: “Things are Going to Be OK.”

OVCC musical director Masa Fukuda is deliberate in his approach to transform top-charting hits into OVCC arrangements full of passion and purpose. OVCC has challenged difficult topics such as suicide and childhood hunger, offering hope through its inspiring music.

In a recent interview in the media, Fukuda said, “In the beginning, I did not want to do anything around Frozen 2 because the whole world was doing it, but when I heard ‘Show Yourself,’ I knew this was it -- this is our song.”

The video is set to launch today, Feb. 26, on the OVCC YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/JBe7zqJpPd8. This video seeks to provide a message of hope, optimism and encouragement for all.
