Internet-Based Nonprofit Brings Awareness for Support Services to Single Moms Across the United States

Monique Neeley, Founder of Making Ends Meet, Jacqueline Washington, MBA Career Coach, and Marjorie Bostwick, Life Coach has created an online event designed to bring awareness of emergency support services needed for single moms' to all women all across the country.

This month-long event is taking place on February 9, 2010 Making Ends Meet is a community of single moms' who are able to receive life skills training, career coaching, and emergency assistance services such as; rent/mortgage, utilities, and grocery assistance.

In February 2010, this community is banding together to bring awareness of the needs of single moms' and raise funds to keep supporting this charity. The event includes a "Calendar Cutie's" Kid Photo Contest where anyone can participate and upload a photo of their child, and share with family and friends and vote. Each $1 donation counts as 1 vote.

Making Ends Meet provides information, resources, and inspirational stories of single moms who have overcome the difficult challenges they have faced while raising children in a single parent family home. According to Families and Living Arrangements: 2006, there were 12.9 million one-parent families in 2006 - 10.4 million single-mother families.
