Introducing Localokel.com - The Place To Go For Easter Trails
Online, April 5, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Hunting for Easter egg trails has just got easier, with the launch of LocalOkel.com
LocalOkel.com is pleased to announce it is the UK's most comprehensive list of Easter egg trails and family activities.
Incorporating listings from the National Trust, English Heritage, Soil Association and independent attractions, there is no other resource that comes close.
With over 400 trails listed from Magherafelt, Berwick-upon-Tweed to Colchester, there's bound to be a hunt close to you anywhere in the country.
Highlights include a Dinosaur egg hunt in Dorchester, an Alien search in Yeovil and a terrifying head hunt in London.
LocalOkel.com launched in March 2011, with a free community notice board including local activity search service for locals and visitors to your area.
The aim of LocalOkel.com is simple - to let everyone know where to go and what's going on wherever they are. Whether it's a museum, tourist attraction, cinema or farm, plays, gigs, street markets or even poetry reading classes, LocalOkel.com should have it listed.
LocalOkel.com is designed to support local community boards - by reaching a much larger audience who may miss local posters and postcards in shop windows.
Organisers and owners can promote their event or attraction for free - simply by registering and uploading the details. The easy to navigate site allows events to be listed on multiple dates and times in one form. Events will automatically be removed when they are over.
The search facility allows visitors to search for events by city, category, date or type (attraction, event, club/class).
LocalOkel.com is currently engaged in a marketing drive to attract event listings, and will be launching a consumer facing campaign in the coming months.
LocalOkel.com was designed and built by London digital agency, Firecrackeruk.com

About LocalOkel - The concept for LocalOkel.com evolved when founder, John Pleasant, found himself with 24 hours to occupy in Bristol when snow made it impossible to continue his journey back to London. With no local knowledge it was only due to the help of some very friendly locals that he managed to find accommodation, somewhere to eat and something to occupy his time until he could resume his journey. On his return John sat down with a pen and blank sheet of paper and LocalOkel.com was born.
