IntuiLab Brings Touch-First Content Creation Without Coding to Multiple Platforms Using a New HTML5-Based Technology
IntuiLab, provider of IntuiFace, the world's premier no-coding interactive experience creation platform, is excited to announce the availability of IntuiFace Version 5.0.
Toulouse, France, September 16, 2015 (Newswire.com) - IntuiLab, provider of IntuiFace, the world’s premier no-coding interactive experience creation platform, is excited to announce the availability of IntuiFace Version 5.0. Key to this release is a brand new HTML5-based player architecture, underpinning its support for the iPad, Android tablets and the Samsung SMART Signage Platform. With this new technology – also currently in beta for Chrome OS and in the pipeline for other platforms such as LG’s webOS – creative teams across industry verticals can create highly interactive touch-first content for all of the latest tablets and other devices without having specific coding or HTML5 markup skills.
The ability to create rich, platform-independent interactive content is the promise of HTML5, thus its adoption by IntuiLab. However, to ensure this rich interactive content is delivered with enterprise-class performance – critical for successful deployments - IntuiLab built its new HTML5-based player architecture with the following unique key capabilities:
• Dynamic frame rate that targets 60 FPS (frames-per-second) and automatically adjusts when device capacity is exceeded in order to smooth rendering and eliminate UI freeze under all running conditions.
• Prioritization of touch events over content loading, reducing response time to user interactions.
• Patented gesture recognition engine that rapidly processes and interprets dozens of simultaneous multi-touch gestures, important for multi-user environments.
These key capabilities are certainly not found in traditional web pages, even those created using HTML5 (gesture support is limited to scrolling, primitive animation support, limited media handling), nor in Flash which is quickly losing platform vendor support and marketplace traction, making them both a non-starter when it comes to supporting engaging modern experiences.
This platform-independent approach to running interactive content rounds out IntuiFace, IntuiLab’s innovative content creation platform. Using their own content – images, videos, documents, 3D models and more – creative teams build fully self-branded experiences without template restriction. These interactive experiences can be linked to the back office, the cloud or even the Internet of Things to create compelling, personalized storylines for each end user. Plus, with automated deployment and usage statistics, designers can react quickly to changing requirements and audience needs with updated content.
Complementing the reinvented player architecture are additional improvements. An overhaul of the UI for IntuiFace Composer – the authoring tool – targets user productivity, reducing mouse clicks and simplifying access to core capability. The onscreen touch keyboard accessible to end users now supports 30+ languages and can be configured to self-identify the appropriate language for a multi-country deployment. And the introduction of “conditional triggers” further enhances the already powerful when-this-happens (trigger) then-do-that (action) mechanism core to creating experiences responsive to user and other contextual input.
“We have invested thousands of hours in our new HTML5-based player architecture, squeezing every ounce of performance out of all touch-enabled platforms,” says Vincent Encontre, CEO. “We did the heavy lifting so our users wouldn’t have to. As a result, we believe IntuiFace Version 5.0 – with its no-coding approach and support for dynamic content – represents the cutting edge in touch-first content creation and sets a very high bar.”
The Free Edition of IntuiFace Composer Version 5.0 is available for immediate download. In addition, IntuiFace Player for iPad, Android and the Samsung SSP can all be trialed for free as well. Check the associated app store for iPad and Android; contact IntuiLab about the Samsung SSP.
