Invents Introduces "Shut Off Gasoline Line", End High Speed Chases Via Loss Of Fuel

The Shut Off Gasoline Line is a practical way for law enforcement to quickly disable a motor vehicle during high speed chases.

Various research estimates that between 350-2,500 deaths and 55,000 injuries occur each year as the result of high speed police chases. While high speed chases may be necessary at times, there is a way to reduce the number of deaths and injuries that may result with a new product, the Shut Off Gasoline Line. The Shut Off Gasoline Line is installed within the fuel lines of motor vehicles and can be remotely activated by police and other law enforcement personnel to block the flow of fuel to a vehicle's engine, disabling the vehicle. Because a vehicle can be so quickly disabled, police officers, other motorists, innocent bystanders, criminals, and property are protected from the dangerous hazards associated with high speed police chases.

Transmitters are incorporated into the design of the Shut Off Gasoline Line that respond to remote transmitters located in police vehicles. Universal in design, these transmitter units need only be directed at the designated vehicle involved in a chase and activated in order to power the Shut Off Gasoline Line located in the criminal's vehicle. As the fuel level in the engine drops, the vehicle begins to slow regardless of how much force is exerted on the accelerator. The criminal's vehicle will quickly run out of gas and the police officers can then safely approach the disabled vehicle and apprehend the criminal who is attempting to flee the scene.

"The Shut Off Gasoline Line quickly disables a criminal's vehicle resulting in quick arrest and no dangerous high speed chase endangering the public and the officers."

Mario Ramos, Inventor

The Patent Pending Shut Off Gasoline Line was invented by Mario Ramos of Los Angeles, CA, who said, “the Shut Off Gasoline Line can be easily installed as an aftermarket accessory or integrated at the point of vehicle manufacture. It provides an inexpensive safety tool that can prove an invaluable commodity to any motorist and law enforcement official.”
