Invents Introduces "Squish The Bug-Training Aid for Hitting", Good Practice In Baseball & Softball Players
New York, NY, January 5, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Baseball and softball players know that the proper back-foot pivot is essential to a good, powerful swing. Now, a new product, Squish The Bug-Training Aid for Hitting, trains young player to develop this back-foot pivot. Easy to use and eminently affordable, Squish The Bug-Training Aid accommodates both right- and left-handed batters and makes the proper back-foot pivot as easy as “squishing” a bug under one's toe.
Patent Pending, Squish The Bug-Training Aid for Hitting was invented by Todd McPeek and Frank Desiderio of Blairstown, NJ, who said, “Squish The Bug-Training Aid for Hitting consists of a flat platform with a molded, pivoting insert that fits into a corresponding circular cavity in the platform. This insert features a closed toe-cup for the toe region of the batter's shoe or cleat and a pair of linear ridges that restrain the shoe from the sides. The foot or shoe insert pivots laterally atop the flat platform and it pivots a full 360 degrees. In order to accommodate the rear foot of both right and left handed batters the foot insert is simply pivoted 180 degrees relative to the platform and the platform reversed front to back.”
"This hitting aid is easy to set up, easy to use, and tough enough to withstand years of repeated use. Squish The Bug-Training Aid for Hitting is the answer to a coach's dream as well as to the hitters themselves."

The inventor added, “Included with Squish The Bug-Training Aid for Hitting is a manual with instructions for set-up and use and a series of freeze-frame graphics of the proper baseball swing for righties and lefties. Easy to set up and use, Squish The Bug-Training Aid for Hitting is tough enough to withstand heavy, long-term use.”
