Invents Releases "The Language Bear", Give Child Headstart Teaching 2nd Language While He/She Plays

The Language Bear is an educational tool while also a toy that teaches your child a second or foreign language.

Some parents may wish to give their children an educational head-start. They may feel it is advantageous for their children to be able to speak a foreign or second language. The Language Bear can teach a child a foreign or second language in a stress-free way. It is a specially designed teddy bear that can be programed to speak and translate a variety of different languages. It provides children with not only a fun toy, but also a useful educational tool. Similar in appearance to standard teddy bears, The Language Bear is made of cushy, soft plush material that is washable, hypoallergenic, and flame retardant.

Patent Pending, The Language Bear was invented by Tony Korthals of St. Charles, IL, who said, “What sets The Language Bear apart from other teddy bears is its language capabilities. The Language Bear has several features to enhance a child's ability to learn language. A USB port is at the base of The Language Bear so that laptops, mp3 players, or smart phones can download language instructions and lessons. The speaker has modern Bluetooth connectivity and is located in the mouth of the bear. The Language Bear is powered by a rechargeable battery source with auxiliary jack backup. It has internal computer chips and speakers for The Language Bear's speaking and interactive capabilities. The Language Bear can also be equipped with a GPS locator chip for location should it be lost or stolen.”

"Children are like sponges and have the ability to learn quickly. Language is important in today's world and the Language Bear aides the learning process."

Tony Korthals, Inventor

The inventor added, “When your child presses one of The Language Bear's paws, it begins to speak words and phrases in a selected language. The Language Bear then translates these spoken words into the child's native tongue. Your child then repeats the words and phrases back to The Language Bear. A voice recognition wireless chip in located in the nose of the bear and “hears” your child's pronunciation. If your child's pronunciation was correct, The Language Bear continues to the next set of words or phrases.”
