Invents Releases "The Pathway Lighters LED Light System" Cyclists Stay Visible When On Road & Highways

Alert to cyclists—the Pathway Lighters LED Light System is a safer, more visible way to indicate signaling and stopping for bicyclists and motorcyclists

Motorcycle and bicycle accidents are all too common on roadways and a large number of these crashes occur merely because vehicle drivers and others are unable to see the rider. A new product, the Pathway Lighters LED Light System, can provide riders a safer, more visible way to indicate signaling and stopping. The Pathway Lighters LED Light Systems is a line of specially designed, wearable vests for bicyclists and motorcyclists with a series of illuminated directional and braking lights that work in tandem with the operation of the bikes. Particularly helpful in urban areas, at night, and during inclement weather conditions, the Pathway Lighters LED Light System allows bikers and their intentions to be highly visible to other bikers, motorists, and pedestrians. Available in a variety of fashionable colors and styles with creative logos, the line is offered in sizes small, medium, large, and extra large. Televised test marketing has been completed indicating an exceptional consumer interest in the Pathway Lighters LED Light System

The Patent Pending Pathway Lighters LED Light System was invented by Denise Brown of New York, NY, who said, “The Pathway Lighters LED Light System is comprised of a comfortable webbed fabric for optimal ventilation when worn in warm climates. For colder climes, the vest is oversized to permit an easy fit over winter clothing. On each side of the vest, a series of LEDs (light emitting diodes) have red lights, followed by amber hued illuminations. These lights form the shape of an arrow and are mounted on a black support shield for maximum contrast and heightened visibility.”

The inventor added, “Power cords extend downward from the vest to connect the unit to a control panel, with three operational buttons, on both the left and right sides of the bike's handlebars. Pressing the left button activates the LEDs to sequentially flash red then amber to indicate a left turn. The right button does the same for the right turn and the center button activates both left and right lights to indicate a stop or intention to stop. Power to the system is provided by a rechargeable battery source located in the interior of the vest."
