The device consists of a spring-tensioned alligator clip which is fastened to the end of a semi-rigid, coated metal wire that is produced in various lengths ranging from thirty to sixty inches. The device is compact and storage is simple. The apparel Re-Stringer-Unstrung Hero was designed for use with any drawstring waist or closure garment: sweat pants, workout shorts, lounge pants, men and boy's swimsuits, hooded sweatshirts and drawstring-hooded rain-jackets. When a drawstring malfunctioned such as when one end is lost in the sleeve and one extended far beyond the sleeve’s opening, the user simply pulls the drawstring completely out and then the alligator-clip is fastened to one end of the drawstring and inserted into the garment’s waistband or hoodie drawstring sleeve. The semi-rigid wire permits the clip and the drawstring to be gently pushed though the opening from one end to the other, when the clip emerges, the user removes it....and the wire then pulls the drawstring until both ends are even – it is that simple and that easy.
