IPad-based Differentiation Tool For Luxury Hotels Showcased During IHIF 2012

DigiValet will present different examples of how to use iPad-based in-room technology to improve differentiation in the luxury hotel market segment.

DigiValet, a fast-growing hospitality company, is sponsoring the 2012 annual event of the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin in March. The event is a key gathering for executives from the global hotel investment and development industry. Differentiation for luxury hotels will be an important topic.

In its simplest version, DigiValet enables hotel guests to control all hotel services through an iPad dedicated to their room and personalised to them. For example, guests can control their room lights, temperature, curtains and also order food and beverages in one stroke.

Hotel owners can increase revenues per room providing in-room shopping from nearby shops, spas, business and tourism services. Local content, hotel maps, available services are entirely customised by DigiValet for each hotel. As a CRM input platform interconnected with both PMS and POS, DigiValet is also a great personalisation tool, adapting to the users and enabling hotels to surprise their returning guests with special services.
