Boomer women are increasingly using new technology to make their lives easier, according to an annual consumer technology study by women Boomer site VibrantNation.com. Released today, the study finds that 50+ women are willing to pay top dollar for gadgets like the iPad, which 28% identify as the technology product they most desire; and eReaders such as the Kindle, which 23% of the respondents seek.

In addition, 83% of respondents say they are now using their smartphones for something beyond making phone calls - a 20% jump from last year's findings.
