To qualify for the White Coat of Quality award 2015, iPatientCare was required to:
Submit a quality commitment letter signed by senior leadership affirming company’s commitment toward a goal of zero electronic prescription content Quality Related Events (QREs).
Identify a minimum of three quality metrics for improvement and make software changes to improve QRE rates.
Measure and report e-prescription content Quality Related Event rates prior to and after improvement efforts.
Provide sample material of best practice document or education program designed to assist end-users more effectively utilize the e-prescribing system to reduce QREs.
