What's with the name?

We used the term "Bakery" because we wanted to reproduce for our brand the same feeling we get when we walk into a bakery: rows of delicious colors and eye candy. Since Brooklyn is the main inspiration for our designs, we decided to name the shop "The Brooklyn Bakery". We started The Brooklyn Bakery based on a theory that people want to be able to express their individuality, and create items for people to make a discernible statement of style.

What inspires the designs?

We gain inspiration from history, architecture, art, and as one of the most artistically saturated urban areas in the world, Brooklyn, New York serves as an endless supply of inspiration for design.

How do we make this stuff?

Our leather goods are made in the USA: each piece is individually cut, branded and inspected to ensure the highest quality. The edges are painted and the brass snaps are tightly fastened to secure in each application.
