Ipswitch Makes Mail Server Administration Easy with the Release of IMail Server v11.02
Online, May 18, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Ipswitch Messaging Division, a leading developer of messaging solutions, today announced the release of IMail Server v11.02. With 15 years of industry experience, Ipswitch continues to innovate and develop products that meet the needs of small and mid-sized businesses.
With the release of IMail v11.02, Ipswitch has removed the 2GB maximum mailbox size limitation. Users will also experience faster performance with the improvement of mailbox processing for all access methods including POP, IMAP and Web Client access.
Many of the new features in v11.02 were incorporated specifically for mail server administrators. "We actively seek out the voice of our customers. Most of the new features found in v11.02 came from direct conversations with our customer community," says Tripp Allen, President of the Ipswitch Messaging Division. One such request was the ability to maintain separate trailer messages at the domain level which is now possible as part of this release. IMail administrators can also create customized language files for the IMail Web Admin interface.
With the addition of a "Refresh License" button in the Web and Console Administrative Interface, IMail customers will find it easier to refresh their licenses. The added button eliminates the need for an additional login and also acts as a reminder for customers whose licenses are about to expire.
Just a few weeks ago, Ipswitch also released a free administrative utility pack to all existing customers, again focused on making IMail Server administration as easy as possible. Allen adds, "Many companies practice one-way communication with their customers. We take a different stance. We value our customers' voice and incorporate it into everything that we do."
