IQID, the world's first mobile app to verify and intelligently match people seeking the same #keywords locally, will be unveiled at Tech Crunch Disrupt on May 10th in New York.

IQID, the world’s first mobile app to verify and intelligently match people seeking the same #keywords locally, will be unveiled at Tech Crunch Disrupt NY 2016 on May 10th.

IQID is changing the way people meet, interact and do business. Every consumer can relate to seeing a good deal advertised by a private seller, but didn’t buy it as they had doubts on the legitimacy of the seller. And how many times have sellers not sold something as they did not want to deal with strangers. With IQID’s verified government ID profiles and Trust Score, buyers and sellers feel more secure by sharing their profiles before they do a Person-to-Person (P2P) transaction.

In the anonymous online world where people frequently hide behind fake names and where it is difficult to find trusted P2P services and products locally, IQID is a useful tool in making our lives more convenient, efficient and safer by sharing a party’s identity.

At Tech Crunch Disrupt NY 2016, IQID brings a new, industry first feature of finding other IQID profiles by intelligently matching users when they are nearby. This feature works by adding hashtag keywords (#HamiltonTickets), a friend’s phone number (#12125551212) or soon, matching a merchants local deal (#food50%off). This feature creates a searchable geofenced area of up to 3 miles.

How IQID Works

IQID makes Internet transactions more transparent and secure by verifying a user’s government ID and giving them a shareable “Trust Score”. The Trust Score removes anonymity and builds trust by confirming the identities of people via their driver’s license, passport, ID card and IP address. In addition, IQID users can increase their “Trust Score” by adding in their social profiles of Linkedin (LNKD), Facebook (FB), PayPal (PYPL), eBay (EBAY) and their Credit Score, giving buyers and sellers a bigger picture of the person’s identity.

IQID’s technology enables consumers to share their physical ID via a private URL that consumers can send to businesses, merchants or people. Consumers can share profiles with potential buyers or sellers, before any money is exchanged. Profiles can then be matched based on #keyword searches within a specific radius of 300 feet, 1000 feet, 1 mile or 3 miles. Payment can be made between the two parties using the integrated PayPal feature.

Why IQID is Needed

IQID solves the trust and P2P discovery problem. Lack of trust is the #1 reason why consumers do not engage in more P2P transactions, according to a 2015 MEF Report.  PWC estimates the Sharing Economy will be an estimated $300 billion market by 2025. Time Magazine ranked this sharing economy among its “10 Ideas that will change the world.”

About IQID

IQID is a Convenience Economy Platform from a group of New York City Technologists who wanted to increase P2P transactions so that the world can optimize its resources. In this Shared Economy, Uber shows us, why buy a car, when you need a ride? And AirBnB shows us, why buy a house, when you need accommodations. IQID believes in the Convenience Economy, where everyone is finally trusted and you can focus on efficiently matching people on what their #keyword needs are locally. IQID’s enables the transaction from #keyword discovery all the way through PayPal payment.

IQID will be presenting at Tech Crunch on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at their booth. You can download the current IQID 1.0 iOS and Android applications in Apple’s iTunes and Google’s Play Stores. The IQID 2.0 #Keyword Matching feature will be released this Summer 2016. Additional information can be found at IQID.com, contacting us at +1(212)283-6000 or [email protected]
