Academy Bus, the largest privately owned and operated transportation company in the US, has selected ISE Fleet Services, a division of Innovative Software Engineering (ISE) as its fleet-wide provider of Electronic Driver Logs. The ISE Fleet Services eFleetSuite solution, is a full featured FMCSA 395.15 compliant application that will automate DOT Hours-of-Service and Driver Vehicle Inspection Report record keeping, and improve efficiency in Academy’s fleet operations. eFleetSuite Electronic Driver Logs will be upgraded in the future to the new ELD regulations.

“We enjoy working with ISE Fleet Services, and have been impressed with their eFleetSuite solution and the level of dedicated customer support we’ve received. We are looking forward to a long term partnership with ISE,” said Mike Horak, Director of Risk Management for Academy Bus.

ISE Fleet Services Electronic Driver Logs consists of a mobile interface, a web interface and an adaptable communications channel. The mobile interface automatically records driving status, calculates available driving time and notifies the driver of their compliance status. The web interface provides the capability to view, edit and print driver logs. Other reporting features include driver time, mileage summaries, real-time driver availability, violations, and log editing. The communications channel supports cellular networks.

Adopting ISE Fleet Services Electronic Driver logs reduces costs by eliminating the manual processing of paper logs, allowing dispatchers to efficiently schedule resources and help maintain driver compliance. Eliminating paper logs in the cab and providing real-time driver feedback promotes higher driver satisfaction, improved productivity, and increased driver retention.

“ISE Fleet Services is interested in value added partnerships that support our mission in ensuring our customers continue to strive towards operating a safer, more compliant, and more profitable business” said Chris Nelson, Vice President, ISE Fleet Services. “It has been an honor to work with a company such as Academy that is so committed to operating safely. We are excited about this partnership and are looking forward to working together side by side.”
