On 6 June 2010, at 7:00 A.M. Jerusalem Time, for the first time in history, Palestinians and Israelis will be able to register to vote for the FIRST Israeli Palestinian Confederation. General elections will take place on 12 December 2012.
Online, June 6, 2010 (Newswire.com) - On 6 June 2010, at 7:00 A.M. Jerusalem Time, for the first time in history, Palestinians and Israelis will be able to register to vote for the FIRST Israeli Palestinian Confederation. General elections will take place on 12 December 2012.
The Israeli Palestinian Confederation will be an independent government, mutual to the Palestinian and Israeli people. It does not intend to replace or undermine the separate Israeli or Palestinian governments. The Israeli Palestinian Confederation will become an additional government necessary to fill in the current void and make peace. Starting 6 June 2010, Palestinians and Israeli citizens who reside in the regions will be able to offer their candidacy for Parliament in each of the determined 300 districts to be represented in Parliament. Each Parliament member will represent a population of over 35,000 people.
In addition, Palestinian and Israeli citizens who reside in the region will also be able to offer their candidacy for the Presidency of the Israeli Palestinian Confederation. The President will be serving a term of two years and will then rotate with his Vice President for an additional two years.
All the candidates, along with their personal biographies, photos, and mission statements will appear on our website within 24-48 hours of their registration.
