ISSSP Announces April Webinar: Lean as a Daily Management System

ISSSP

After a successful launch of its first webinar, the International Society of Six Sigma Professionals is announcing its second webinar for April.

The free webinar, titled “Lean as a Daily Management System,” will be presented by Kim Roquemore, the director of operational excellence at LMH Health Systems. The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, at 2 p.m. CT.

Empowering front-line staff to be problem solvers, Lean Daily Management focuses on eliminating the eight wastes and promotes five core pillars: People, Service, Quality, Growth and Cost.

“Using this set of tools throughout two hospitals, our teams/staff were able to see multiple Lean wins, increasing efficiency and effectiveness, which ultimately brought greater value to our patients,” said Roquemore.

Prior to her role at LMH, Kim was the director of performance improvement for two hospitals in Southern California, where she developed and implemented Performance Improvement Management systems. She successfully led initiatives which increased organizational transparency, leadership visibility and quality measures across the organizations. Kim holds a master’s degree in business and is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
