DETROIT, September 6, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Bluewater, based in Southfield, Michigan, announces the addition of Itai Ben-Gal as Chief Innovation Officer. Responding to overwhelming customer demand for strategic technical insight, Ben-Gal will oversee the company's technology, architecture, and product roadmap. Ben-Gal and his team will be leading Bluewater with innovation and technology advancements to create market differentiation and revenue opportunities.
Detroit native, Ben-Gal is a well-known industry veteran, tech leader, and innovator. He turned his passion for A/V and home theater into a thriving career in the Internet of Things (IoT) market. In 2009, he founded iRule, a Detroit-based software provider that transformed iOS and Android devices into universal remotes for commercial and residential control. In 2016, he sold his company to Kramer Electronics. Prior to joining Bluewater, Ben-Gal was at Kramer Electronics as the CEO of iRule.

Ben-Gal is on the Board of Industry Leaders for the Consumer Technology Association, formerly the Consumer Electronics Association, the nation’s preeminent trade association representing more than 2,200 consumer technology companies.
