Italian Exotics Roar Into Dublin, Ohio this Labor Day Weekend
On Sunday, September 5, Bulls, Stallions, Spyders, and other Italian beasts will stampede onto the lawn of Wendy's International Corporate Grounds for the annual Italian Gathering, the largest gathering of exotic Italian cars in the Midwest.
Online, August 24, 2010 (Newswire.com) - On Sunday, September 5, Bulls, Stallions, Spyders, and other Italian beasts will stampede onto the lawn of Wendy's International Corporate Grounds for the annual Italian Gathering, the largest gathering of exotic Italian cars and motorcycles in the Midwest.
Hosted by Evans Automotive, more than 100 rare automobiles such as Lamborghinis, Ferrari, Maserati, Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, De Tomaso, Pantera and others will be on display as well as Ducati motorcycles. Proceeds from the show benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and Wendy's Wonderful Kids.
The Lamborghini Countach is the marquee vehicle this year, and owners from across the nation are hosting a special reunion at the show. The Countach was the first Lamborghini to introduce, among other things, scissor doors. These V12 monsters continue to appeal to collectors all over the world for their performance and extreme design.
"2010 promises to be a special year for the Lamborghini marque at the Italian Gathering," said George Evans, owner of Evans Automotive. "We are expecting more than 25 examples of the Countach to be present at the show. We encourage car enthusiasts of all ages to come and enjoy this rare sight."
Other exciting vehicles on display include a 1990 Ferrari F40 that is twin turbo charged and has a top speed of 201 mph, two Lamborghini Diablo SE 30s with a very low production number of 152 with only 25 meeting US specifications, and a very rare 1987 Lamborghini LM002 all terrain vehicle, affectionately referred to as the "Rambo Lambo." In addition, the latest Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Masseratis will be on display courtesy of Midwestern Auto Group | Lamborghini Ohio.
The show welcomes Italian motor vehicles and motorbikes of all vintages to the Wendy's International Corporate Grounds at One Dave Thomas Blvd., Dublin, OH 43017 from 10am to 4pm. Admission for spectators is free, parking is $5.00 per car.
