ITFellas Launches Web-Based Mobile Device Management (SaaS) for iPhone

ITFellas announces the launch of PocketManager for iPhone. PocketManager, the leading web-based mobile device management solution that enables any organization to easily manage mobile devices, has expanded its platform to include iPhone support.

At launch, ITFellas is powering management and support for BlackBerry®, Windows Mobile®, and Symbian® devices that companies are using to access their network and other corporate assets.

The launch of PocketManager for iPhone marks the first platform that allows any organization to manage their iPhone devices in minutes with no further knowledge required.

"To achieve true enterprise-class capability, companies should find a way to manage and secure (personally-owned) iPhones. PocketManager allows any organization to bring the iPhone into their IT environment, while overcoming challenges in provisioning, management, security and application enablement," says ITFellas' Chief Strategist.

ITFellas' mobility practice relies on Sybase iAnywhere's Afaria 6.5 for mobile device management capabilities. The release of ITFellas' web-based solution enables organizations to leverage these capabilities and support any smartphone within their current environment best suited for their particular users. Providing the same types of services for any platform, companies can enhance the productivity and responsiveness of the mobile workforce.

iPhone use within the enterprise is expected to reach an all-time high. It is inevitable that consumers will be taking their iPhones to work. The mobility management market is poised for rapid growth and ITFellas' global partner program will ease the process of enabling enterprise adoption of the Apple iPhone.
