iTRG Responds to COVID-19 With Free Membership for Independent Truck Repair Shops
Heavy-duty truck repair trade association aims to alleviate the burden of the COVID-19 business slowdown by offering free membership to its premium suite of business-building services.
LEXINGTON, Ky., April 28, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Independent Truck Repair Group (iTRG) announced they will offer free access to their membership platform through August 2020. This platform features services to help diesel repair shops improve their bottom line including, online technical training, a national parts and rebate program, and the Tech Talk support hotline. "Lots of heavy-duty repair shops are feeling the pinch right now, so we wanted to offer free membership so those shops looking to control expenses can join and get immediate relief," says Robert "Buck" Monson, Executive Board Member of iTRG and owner of Monson Truck & Trailer Repair-Davenport, IA.
Once inside the platform, there is a wide selection of business building options, including:
PARTS PROGRAM:
iTRG has negotiated an aggressive national parts program that gives members access to over 500 vendors and more than 100,000 parts.
With same-day shipping, an aggressive rebate program and a 2 million parts network system to cross-reference parts numbers, this platform was designed to provide heavy-duty repair shops with the tools and cost savings they need to boost their competitiveness.
TECH TALK SUPPORT HOTLINE:
The Tech Talk Support Hotline is a 24/7/365, live hotline manned by master technicians with years of experience who are available to help technicians diagnose problems and guide them through repairs.
This dedicated hotline allows shops to streamline efficiency and boost profits by eliminating extended labor hours on jobs, performing diagnostic troubleshooting by support code or symptom, and providing support for all major on and off-road engines.
ONLINE TRAINING:
iTRG's online training platform uses the latest adaptive learning technology to analyze the tech's existing knowledge and knowledge gaps. Then custom training is delivered to each tech that is specific to their individual needs.
This learning platform gives technicians the flexibility to train a little each day while maintaining a normal work schedule. Shop owners and managers can use the powerful analytics dashboard to measure the learning progress of each technician and how that learning drives business results.
By offering free access to this platform for a limited time, iTRG is looking to meet the immediate needs of its members. "We saw what was happening in the industry, and our board reacted quickly to take the steps necessary to serve our members," said John Stoeckinger, President, iTRG.
Stoeckinger goes on to say, "We've committed significant resources toward building services that support our members in growing healthy profitable businesses. No shop owner has to feel like they are alone on an island anymore."
The iTRG membership platform is free to join through August 2020, and then regular platform access fees apply. If after 12 months users are unhappy with the platform, their investment will be refunded.
