'j1 automotive' develops Performance Air Filter for Aston Martin

Online, May 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - All of the modern Aston Martins share common Air Cleaners and Air Filters in their intake systems, but there were no replacement filters designed specifically for them. A kit has therefore been developed by 'j1 automotive' which comprises of the 2 replacement performance air filters along with their fitting instructions, to address the need in the Aston Martin engine upgrade and tuning markets. Over the years, there has been an increase in high performance prestige car tuning as more and more people seek out different and unique looking vehicles, 'j1 automotive' see improvements in performance, and especially in the air intake, as another option in the custom vehicle tuning package.

Available through specialist dealers and via the 'j1 automotive' website, the kits will retail at about £112 + VAT, and have been designed as a direct replacement to the highly restrictive paper stock filters, so no alterations to the intake system is required. Improvements in air flow verses the stock filter show a drop in restriction by as much as 35%, whilst maintaining high efficiency levels of around 96%.
