Noted Fort Lauderdale Restaurateur Jack Mancini, Owner of Mancini's Restaurant, To Bring Globally Influenced Small and Large Plates, Craft Beers, Splashy Cocktails & Design Reminiscent of NYC's Meatpacking District to East Las Olas

Noted Fort Lauderdale Restaurateur Jack Mancini, founder of popular Las Olas Italian restaurant mainstay Mancini's, is launching M Bar, a 200-seat, 3,500 square-foot global tapas eatery and bar, this June on East Las Olas Boulevard adjacent to Rocco's Tacos. Mancini also plans on reintroducing a sleek redesigned Mancini's Restaurant this August, which will offer a new outdoor patio with an outdoor sidewalk bar and a wood-burning pizza oven, in the same building as M Bar. M Bar, focusing on small plates from around the world, will provide patrons with a global assortment of hot and cold plates with Mediterranean, Asian, Italian, and Middle Eastern influences, as well as a bar featuring craft beers, cocktails and an international wine list, amid a sleek industrial atmosphere with an atmosphere reminiscent of New York City's SoHo and Meatpacking District.

"With our global tapas concept, the goal is to bring the nationwide small plate and farm-to-table movement to East Las Olas. M Bar will deliver a unique global kitchen dining concept featuring tapas, small plates, gourmet burgers, and a wide variety of specialty craft beers and microbrews," says Jack Mancini, owner of M Bar and Mancini's Restaurant. "With its combination of striking industrial design elements and fashionable cuisine, M Bar will become the new hotspot for social gatherings and culinary exploration."

M Bar's tapas-style menu will feature culinary standouts like Maple-Glazed Crispy Pork Belly with Sour Kraut and Jalapeño Apple Sauce; Cured Spanish Mackerel with Pickled Watermelon Rind, Cucumber Relish, Spanish Olive Oil, and Pea Greens; Grilled Giant Prawns with Chilies and Garlic; and Superior Gourmet Burgers made from beef ground freshly in-house, like Prime Burger Sliders and the Specialty "Big M" Burger. Guests who would like to take the guess work out of creating the perfect flavor combinations can utilize M Bar's preselected craft beer and food pairings.

Flat Bread varieties will include Artichoke Puree with Pancetta, Kalamata Olives, Chili Flakes, and Mozzarella Cheese; and Thin Sliced Pear with Domestic Prosciutto and Citrus Endive Salad. Tempting Mini Desserts offered will include Enrobed Chocolate Mousse with Ancho Caramel, Gooey-Centered Spanish Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream, and Banana Cake, Coconut Sorbet and Peanut Streusel. Stellar favorites from Italian eatery favorite Mancini's will also make an appearance on M Bar's menu.

Master cocktailians and shotologists will deliver trendy cocktails using fresh fruit infusions, herbs and spices to create refreshingly bold libations. Classic martinis and a variety of hand-crafted drinks from the garden will include En Fuego, made with Herradura Reposado Tequila, red pepper, cilantro, and agave nectar, and the Las Olas Sunset, crafted with Ketel One Vodka, fresh cherry tomatoes, basil, simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice.

Wine connoisseurs will enjoy M Bar's assortment of international wines with tasting notes to complement any small plate, and beer enthusiasts will appreciate an eclectic array of craft beers from around the world, including Chimay Cinq Cents, an authentic Trappist beer from Belgium, Samuel Smith Organic Cherry from Tadcaster, England, and Flying Dog Raging Bitch, a Belgian-Style IPA from Colorado.

M Bar will be located at 1301 East Las Olas Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale, adjacent to Rocco's Tacos. For more information or to schedule a media interview, please contact Michelle Soudry at The Gab Group, 561-750-3500 or email [email protected].
