Jacksonville Dental Practice to Team with Local Charity in Effort to Give Back
Fayetteville, AR, December 4, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Cooper Family Dentistry, located in Jacksonville, Ark., has teamed with Fishnet Missions to serve as a donation-drop location in order to promote charity for the community this holiday season.
The dental practice, located at 308 N. James St. in Jacksonville, asks that donations be brought before Dec. 12 to allot Fishnet Missions with enough time to wrap and distribute donations.
Fishnet Missions is an all volunteer ministry seeking to show the love of Jesus Christ by providing food and comfort to those in need, according to the group’s website. The charity donates thousands of meals weekly with the help of their local partners.
About 15 percent of adults and about 22 percent of children in the United States live in poverty, according to the National Center for Law and Economic Justice.
In 2013 about two million pounds of food was donated through Fishnet Missions, according to their website.
Items accepted include; non-perishable food, new toys, new/lightly worn clothes and typical household items.
