Online, February 23, 2011 (Newswire.com) - U.S. News & World Report-ranked Jacksonville University, a leader in nursing education online, is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring a free nursing continuing education course in conjunction with Nurse.com. A $10 value, Networking for Career Advancement is a one-credit nurse CEU (continuing education unit) course available on Nurse.com that registered nurses will be able to access at no charge starting March 1, 2011.
Networking for Career Advancement is designed to enhance nurses' networking skills, which are an essential tool when seeking new employment, as well as promotions and salary increases. "Our faculty is comprised of accomplished nurses who know firsthand just how hard nurses work," said Judith M. Erickson, PhD, CNS, BC, Dean of Jacksonville University's School of Nursing. "Sponsoring this free nurse CEU will make it a little easier for RNs to complete their CE and maintain their licenses. We hope a lot of nurses will accept this gift from the university with our sincere appreciation."
