Jambalaya Brass Band to Perform for Crawfish for Cancer's 4th Annual Crawfish Boil

Online, May 18, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Jambalaya Brass Band will be performing live at the Crawfish for Cancer's 4th Annual Crawfish Boil for the benefit of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) at the 79th St. Boat Basin Cafe in NYC on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.

At the Crawfish Boil benefit, along with tunes from their successful CD It's a Jungle Out There, Jambalaya Brass Band will be performing other original and traditional favorites. The band's foundation will be provided by Ibanda Ruhumbika on Tuba, Taylor Floreth on Snare Drum, and Dave Butler on Bass Drum-and this rhythm section cooks on high octane, so be sure to bring your dancing shoes! Filling out this tasty gumbo and adding the spice on top will be the trombone of Curtis Fowlkes, the trumpet of Shawn Edmonds, and the tenor sax of leader and founder Ric Frank, an alumnus of the Duke Ellington Orchestra.
