Jargon PR & Pentura Raise £3,163.93 for Action for Children
- Reading based businesses sleep rough to help vulnerable children -
Online, November 9, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Reading based Jargon Public Relations and the agency's client, IT security risk consultancy Pentura have raised £3,163.94 for the charity Action for Children by sleeping rough as part of the national event Byte Night.
Byte Night 2010 took place on Friday 8th October and involved six of the Jargon PR and Pentura team sleeping rough for one night in Reading, Berkshire. All monies raised go directly to support the most vulnerable and neglected children in the UK.
Steve Smith, managing director of Pentura said, "In these difficult financial times it is important we all continue to do what we can for those less fortunate. I can think of no better way of helping young children who are forced to sleep rough than by experiencing it myself."
